Customs Information

South Africa

Documents and commodities with a value of less than ZAR500 are cleared under a Bulk Entry and incur no Customs charges to the Cnee. Shipments with a value exceeding ZAR500 require a formal Customs Clearance.

The Clearance can be done by our In-House Customs Broker (at the prescribed fee below) or the Consignee can nominate their own Clearing Agent to arrange Customs clearance.

Once the shipment has cleared SA Customs, and the required payments made, the shipment can be delivered to Cnee door.

In the event a Shipper wants all clearance and Customs charges reversed (commonly known as a Free Domicile Shipment) this can be arranged.

Free domicile – charges + GBP25 are for the Shippers Agent account.
